In the new media landscape, audiences are no longer passive. People expect the opportunity to get involved. Therefore, there is a need to develop new narrative models for participatory storytelling and to build user involvement through participation.
Granny’s Dancing on the Table is a transmedia universe centering around audience participation, storytelling, and the search for identity, history and community. The universe will consist of a feature film, the game Below, smart phone apps, and live events. Together they offer a complete experience of the storyworld.

Ozma is producing Below, a casual but yet profound adventure game, as well as a innovative platform for digital storytelling. The development work is performed in communication with the crowd, and we have done several workshops around the themes of the game and movie.
The event International Granny Day was held for the first time on the 21st of August 2011 where grannies, crowdsourced from all over the world, was exhibited in the streets of Malmö. Now the grannies will go on a tour to Serbia, Germany and Spain.
